Building description

AFI Karlín BUTTERFLY has been designed as an intelligent building with the clear ecological goal of not only obtaining a high low energy performance rating but also providing its users and visitors a pleasant working environment and a human touch. The dynamism of AFI Karlín BUTTTERFLY is supported by its typical façades made up of vertical green gardens that turn the building into a living organism that grows, changes and moves in time. At the same time, the facades insulate the building and produce oxygen to the immediate surroundings. The project consists of two buildings that can be connected if necessary. The buildings are connected by a central link through which the building "breathes" and provides a space for relaxation.
